free download antivirus norton 360 v2 plus crack
HTML clipboard

Norton 360 v2 is designed to cover all the bases--antivirus, firewall, antiphishing, antispyware, backup, performance issues, and online transaction security--and therefore doesn't require the maintenance of separate security and utility products. This may sound good, if you want one company handling all your PC needs. However, advanced users will notice a lack of richly detailed setting options found in the standalone products from competing vendors. The features Symantec includes are for general audiences not necessarily versed in security.

Similar to Microsoft Windows Live OneCare, Symantec Norton 360 v2 has added a network map, allowing you, as home network administrator, to see the security status of other computers on your home network.
Norton 360 v2 extends antisphishing protection to Firefox. However, you will need to reboot the computer to install the Norton toolbar to Firefox. In addition, we found that the technical support section always opens up Internet Explorer even when the default Web browser is Firefox.

Enhanced Backup features tighter integration with Blu-ray, iPods, and other shared devices. Within Windows Explorer, right-click and select the method you wish to back up a file or directory.

Enhancements to PC Tuneup include the capability to remove unneeded registry files, automatic shutdown after a task (say a thorough scan or backup of your machine), new diagnostic reports for easy problem solving, and browser cleanup tools for Firefox.

Additional features are contained within the Norton 360 v2 add-on pack. The pack includes Parental Controls, antispam tools, and confidential information blocking tools. Norton makes the download an option for people who do not want or need these services, and it requires a reboot of your system.

HTML clipboard

Now you have the opportunity to transform your Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server's interface into a Windows Vista interface. Vista Transformation Pack allows you to change and customize your Start menu, Desktop, and Taskbar.

A lot of skins are available for you to choose from. There also is a docking Sidebar which contains a Memo text feature, clock, organizer, picture slide show. The installation process backs up your original system files, so that they can be completely restored in case you want to go back to the classical Windows GUI.
One of the nice features of this desktop enhancement utility is the battery meter that is displayed on the right side by default. Every gadget that is displayed by default on the sidebar, can be dragged wherever you like on the screen.

Pluses: Windows Vista Transformation Pack is a free product. It adds a customizable new look to your Windows desktop, with little or no intervention from your side.

Drawbacks / flaws: Once installed, it might reduce the speed of your machine and might create system instability. For example, on my computer, sometimes the default user icon that normally shows up in the Start menu, is displayed somewhere in the middle of the screen and remains there until I reboot.

In conclusion: Windows Vista Transformation Pack is an interesting application, with lots of new features just waiting to be put through the test. If you are bored with your Windows XP interface, this software is a definite must-try.

windows vista and others trick

download sree software and games and also film naruto komplt at here

When a window is active (its taskbar button appears pressed down), clicking its taskbar button minimizes the window. That means that the window disappears from the desktop. Minimizing a window doesn't close it or delete its contents—it merely removes it from the desktop temporarily.

In the picture below, Calculator has been minimized, but not closed. You can tell it's still running because it has a button on the taskbar.

Picture showing Calculator minimized on the taskbar
Minimizing Calculator leaves only its taskbar button visible

You can also minimize a window by clicking the Minimize button, in the upper-right corner of the window:

Working with windows

Whenever you open a program, file, or folder, it appears on your screen in a box or frame called a window (that's where the Windows operating system gets its name). Because windows are everywhere in Windows, it's important to understand how to move them, change their size, or just make them go away.

Parts of a window

Although the contents of every window are different, all windows share some things in common. For one thing, windows always appear on the desktop—the main work area of your screen. In addition, most windows have the same basic parts:

Picture of a Notepad window with different parts labeled
Parts of a typical window

Title bar. Displays the name of the document and program (or the folder name if you're working in a folder).

Minimize, Maximize, and Close buttons. These buttons hide the window, enlarge it to fill the whole screen, and close it, respectively (more details on these shortly).

Menu bar. Contains items that you can click to make choices in a program. See Using menus, buttons, bars, and boxes.

Scroll bar. Lets you scroll the contents of the window to see information that is currently out of view.

Borders and corners. You can drag these with your mouse pointer to change the size of the window.

Other windows might have additional buttons, boxes, or bars. But they'll usually have the basic parts, too.

using menu botton

Menus, buttons, scroll bars, and check boxes are examples of controls that you operate with your mouse or keyboard. These controls allow you to select commands, change settings, or work with windows. This section describes how to recognize and use controls that you'll encounter frequently while using Windows.

Using menus

Most programs contain dozens or even hundreds of commands (actions) that you use to work the program. Many of these commands are organized under menus. Like a restaurant menu, a program menu shows you a list of choices. To keep the screen uncluttered, menus are hidden until you click their titles in the menu bar, located just underneath the title bar. For example, clicking "Image" in Paint's menu bar displays the Image menu:

Picture of the Image menu in Paint
Clicking a word in the menu bar opens a menu

To choose one of the commands listed in a menu, click it. Sometimes a dialog box appears, in which you can select further options. If a command is unavailable and cannot be clicked, it is shown in gray, like the Crop command in the picture.

Some menu items are not commands at all. Instead, they open other menus. In the following picture, pointing to "Zoom" opens a submenu. Pointing to "Custom" in the submenu would open yet another submenu.

Picture of a menu and submenu
Some menu commands open submenus

If you don't see the command you want, try looking at another menu. Move your mouse pointer along the menu bar and its menus open automatically; you don't need to click the menu bar again. To close a menu without selecting any commands, click the menu bar or any other part of the window.

Recognizing menus isn't always easy, because not all menu controls look alike or even appear on a menu bar. So how can you spot them? When you see an arrow next to a word or picture, you're probably looking at a menu control. Here are some examples:

how to Keep track of your windows

if you need free software and free games plus naruto video komplit download it here

If you open more than one program or document at a time, you can quickly start piling up windows on your desktop. Because windows often cover each other or take up the whole screen, it's sometimes hard to see what else is underneath or remember what you've already opened.

That's where the taskbar comes in handy. Whenever you open a program, folder, or document, Windows creates a button on the taskbar corresponding to that item. The button shows the icon and name of the item. In the picture below, two programs are open—Calculator and Minesweeper—and each has its own button on the taskbar.

Picture showing Calculator and Minesweeper on the desktop and their corresponding taskbar buttons
Each program has its own button on the taskbar

Notice how the taskbar button for Minesweeper appears pressed in. That indicates that Minesweeper is the active window, meaning that it's in front of any other open windows and is ready for you to interact with.

To switch to another window, click its taskbar button. In our example, clicking the taskbar button for Calculator brings its window to the front:

BitDefender Antivirus Plus 10 with crack free download

For the version included in this torrent other users recommend you should:
Run the patch or it will not accept the key made by the keygen.
Otherwise it will display that your key has expired.

*Note: Personally, in the version I installed [when installing this one said I should
update] the patch seems to help but you should disable automatic updates so that
it stops displaying it has expired and you should also generate a new key.

To check for updates enable the automatic updates and then
put a new key afterwards for ir to work.
If that doesn’t work, try running the patch afterwards.

Registering for the Start Menu E-mail Link
Any application can register to appear as an e-mail client on the Start menu.

E-mail settings are kept in two places. The registry key
[HKLM\Software\Clients\Mail]
describes the e-mail applications that are installed on the system, as well as the default e-mail application.

The key
[HKCU\Software\Clients\Mail]
describes the e-mail client that will be launched when the user clicks the Email icon on the Start menu.

If the HKCU\Software\Clients\Mail key is blank or missing, then the value from HKLM is used to select the e-mail application that will appear on the Start menu.

Underneath [HKLM\Software\Clients\Mail] may be zero or more subkeys, one for each registered email application. For example, a hypothetical system might have:
[HKLM\Software\Clients\Mail\Eudora]
[HKLM\Software\Clients\Mail\Outlook Express]
[HKLM\Software\Clients\Mail\HotMail]
Consider a hypothetical e-mail client called "Lit Mail" by Litware Inc. Litware Inc. decides that it's suitable to register this e-mail client under the internal name "LitMail". Again, the internal name is some unique string that is never shown to the user.

To install an e-mail client as the default, use this registry key:
[HKLM\Software\Clients\Mail\LitMail]
(Default)=REG_SZ:Lit Mail
"LocalizedString"=REG_SZ:@C:\Program Files\LitwareInc\ResourceDLL.dll,-456
The "LocalizedString" value is a REG_SZ that provides a path to an .exe or .dll file and a decimal integer. The decimal integer is the string resource ID within the DLL whose value is to be displayed to the user. This allows the same registration to be used for multiple languages. Each language would provide a different ResourceDLL.dll, and the dynamic loading of the string from the DLL would result in the correct string being displayed, depending on the language selected. Note that the string begins with an "at" sign (@).

After updating the registry keys, the application broadcasts the WM_SETTINGCHANGE message with wParam = 0 and lParam pointing to the null-terminated string "Software\Clients\Mail" to notify the operating system that the default client has changed.

For backward compatibility with applications that do not support localized strings, the name of the application in the installed language should also be set as the default value for the key.

Use the following registry key to indicate the icon to display if the user selects Lit Mail as the Start menu mail program:
[HKLM\Software\Clients\Mail\LitMail\DefaultIcon]
(Default)=REG_SZ:C:\Program Files\LitwareInc\LitMail.exe,1
Use the following registry key to specify a command line for the e-mail client to use if the user clicks the E-mail menu item and Lit Mail is the preferred Start menu e-mail program. It is also the command line that is run if the user selects Read e-mail from the Microsoft Internet Explorer Tools menu. Notice that because there is a space in the path, the .exe name must be enclosed in quotes.
[HKLM\Software\Clients\Mail\shell\open\command]
(Default)=REG_SZ:"C:\Program Files\LitwareInc\LitMail.exe" -inbox
If (and only if) the user specifies Lit Mail to be the default Start menu e-mail application, the Lit Mail application may write its internal name to the following key:
[HKCU\Software\Clients\Mail] (Default)=REG_SZ:LitMail
If (and only if) the user specifies Lit Mail to be the system-wide default e-mail application, the Lit Mail application may write its internal name to the key specified below. Note that access to this key may be restricted. Applications should not assume that all users have permission to change the system-wide default e-mail application.
[HKLM\Software\Clients\Mail]
(Default)=REG_SZ:LitMail
NOTES:

Registration as the default Start menu e-mail application is different from registration as the system default e-mail client or the registered mailto handler. The system default e-mail client is started when the user clicks Read e-mail from the Internet Explorer Tools menu. The registered mailto handler is launched when the user clicks an URL of the form mailto:someone@microsoft.com. The Start menu e-mail application is used when the user clicks the E-mail icon on the Start menu.

If there is no default Start menu e-mail application specified, then the E-mail icon on the Start menu will start the system default e-mail client.

This article does not cover registering as the default mailto protocol handler. Applications that want to register in such manner should continue to follow existing specifications on this subject. This section mainly repeats information provided elsewhere. The only addition to the existing behavior is the definition of the [HKCU\Software\Clients\Mail] registry key.

manually change the visual effects
Windows provides several options to set the visual effects of your computer. For example, you can show shadows under menus. Shadows give menus a 3-D look. You can configure Windows to display all the contents of a window while you move the window on your screen. To make large text more readable, you can display the smooth edges of screen fonts.

Windows provides options to turn on all the settings (for best appearance), or none of the settings (for best computer performance). You can also restore the default settings.

To change the visual effects, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, click Run, and then type sysdm.cpl in the Open box.
2. Click the Advanced tab, and then under Performance, click Settings.
3. Click the Visual Effects tab, and then use one of the following methods:
• Click Adjust for best performance to have Windows automatically adjust the settings for best performance.
• Click Adjust for best appearance to have Windows automatically adjust the settings for best appearance.
• Click Custom, and then select the check boxes for those items that you want to turn on. Clear the check boxes for the items that you want to turn off.

change the size of the virtual memory paging file as manually

You must be logged on as an administrator or as a member of the Administrators group to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent you from completing this procedure.
1. Click Start, click Run, and then type sysdm.cpl in the Open box.
2. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Performance.
3. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Change under Virtual memory.
4. Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file that you want to change.
5. Under Paging file size for selected drive, click Custom size, type a new paging file size in megabytes (MB) in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, and then click Set.
If you decrease the size of either the initial or maximum paging file settings, you must restart your computer to see the effects of those changes. When you increase the paging file size, you typically do not have to restart your computer.

Notes
• To have Windows select the best paging file size, click System managed size. The recommended minimum size is equivalent to 1.5 times the RAM on your computer, and 3 times that figure for the maximum size. For example, if you have 256 MB of RAM, the minimum size is 384 MB, and the maximum size is 1152 MB.
• For best performance, do not set the initial size to less than the minimum recommended size under Total paging file size for all drives. The recommended size is equivalent to 1.5 times the RAM on your computer. It is good practice to leave the paging file at its recommended size. However, you may increase its size if you frequently use programs that use much memory.
• To delete a paging file, set both the initial size and the maximum size to zero, or click No paging file. We strongly recommend that you do not disable or delete the paging file.

tips to manually optimize the memory usage
You can optimize your computer's memory usage. If you use your computer primarily as a workstation instead of as a server, you can devote more memory to your programs. Your programs will work faster and your system cache size will remain the default size that came with Windows XP. You can also set aside more computer memory for a larger system cache if your computer is used primarily as a server, or if you use programs that require a larger cache.
1. Click Start, click Run, and then type sysdm.cpl in the Open box.
2. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Performance.
3. Click the Advanced tab, and then use one of the following methods under Memory usage:
• Click Programs if you use your computer primarily as a workstation instead of as a server. This option allocates more memory to your programs.
• Click System cache if your computer is used primarily as a server or if you use programs that use a larger cache.

steps to set performance options in Windows XP
How to manually manage processor time Windows manages system processing. Windows can allocate tasks between processors and manage multiple processes on a single processor. However, you can set Windows to allocate more processor time to the program that you are currently running. The added processor time causes programs to respond more quickly. Or, if you have background programs such as printing or disk backup that you want to run while you work, you can have Windows share processor resources equally between background and foreground programs.

Note You must be logged on as an administrator to the local computer or have the correct network credentials to make certain changes in System.

How to manually change the performance of foreground and background programs
1. Click Start, click Run, and then type sysdm.cpl in the Open box.
2. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Performance.
3. Click the Advanced tab, and then use one of the following methods under Processor scheduling:
• Click Programs to assign more processor resources to the foreground program than the background program.
• Click Background services to assign equal amounts of processor resources to all programs.
Notes
• If you click Programs, the foreground program runs more smoothly and responds more quickly. If you want a background task such as a Backup utility to run faster, click Background services.
• The Programs option allocates short, variable time slices (quanta) to running programs, and the Background services option assigns long, fixed quanta.

methode to Free up disk space

By freeing disk space, you can improve the performance of your computer. The Disk Cleanup tool helps you free up space on your hard disk. The utility identifies files that you can safely delete, and then enables you to choose whether you want to delete some or all of the identified files.
Use Disk Cleanup to:

Remove temporary Internet files.

Remove downloaded program files (such as Microsoft ActiveX controls and Java applets).

Empty the Recycle Bin.

Remove Windows temporary files.

Remove optional Windows components that you don't use.

Remove installed programs that you no longer use.

Tip: Typically, temporary Internet files take the most amount of space because the browser caches each page you visit for faster access later.

To use Disk Cleanup

1.

Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup. If several drives are available, you might be prompted to specify which drive you want to clean.

By following a few simple guidelines, you can maintain your computer and keep it running smoothly. This article discusses how to use the tools available in Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Windows Vista to more efficiently maintain your computer and safeguard your privacy when you're online.

On This Page
  • Free up disk space
  • Speed up access to data Speed up access to data

Speed up access to data

Disk fragmentation slows the overall performance of your system. When files are fragmented, the computer must search the hard disk when the file is opened to piece it back together. The response time can be significantly longer.

Disk Defragmenter is a Windows utility that consolidates fragmented files and folders on your computer's hard disk so that each occupies a single space on the disk. With your files stored neatly end-to-end, without fragmentation, reading and writing to the disk speeds up.

When to run Disk Defragmenter
In addition to running Disk Defragmenter at regular intervals—monthly is optimal—there are other times you should run it too, such as when:

You add a large number of files.

Your free disk space totals 15 percent or less.

You install new programs or a new version of Windows.

To use Disk Defragmenter:

1.

Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Defragmenter.

Image of the Disk Defragmenter dialog box

Click Analyze to start the Disk Defragmenter.

2.

In the Disk Defragmenter dialog box, click the drives that you want to defragment, and then click the Analyze button. After the disk is analyzed, a dialog box appears, letting you know whether you should defragment the analyzed drives.

Tip: You should analyze a volume before defragmenting it to get an estimate of how long the defragmentation process will take.

3.

To defragment the selected drive or drives, click the Defragment button. Note: In Windows Vista, there is no graphical user interface to demonstrate the progress—but your hard drive is still being defragmented.

After the defragmentation is complete, Disk Defragmenter displays the results.

4.

To display detailed information about the defragmented disk or partition, click View Report.

5.

To close the View Report dialog box, click Close.

6.

To close the Disk Defragmenter utility, click the Close button on the title bar of the window.

Detect and repair disk errors

In addition to running Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter to optimize the performance of your computer, you can check the integrity of the files stored on your hard disk by running the Error Checking utility.

As you use your hard drive, it can develop bad sectors. Bad sectors slow down hard disk performance and sometimes make data writing (such as file saving) difficult, or even impossible. The Error Checking utility scans the hard drive for bad sectors, and scans for file system errors to see whether certain files or folders are misplaced.

If you use your computer daily, you should run this utility once a week to help prevent data loss.

To run the Error Checking utility:

1.

Close all open files.

2.

Click Start, and then click My Computer.

3.

In the My Computer window, right-click the hard disk you want to search for bad sectors, and then click Properties.

4.

In the Properties dialog box, click the Tools tab.

5.

Click the Check Now button.

6.

In the Check Disk dialog box, select the Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors check box, and then click Start.

Image of Check Disk dialog box

7.

If bad sectors are found, choose to fix them.

Tip: Only select the "Automatically fix file system errors" check box if you think that your disk contains bad sectors.

Protect your computer against spyware

Spyware collects personal information without letting you know and without asking for permission. From the Web sites you visit to usernames and passwords, spyware can put you and your confidential information at risk. In addition to privacy concerns, spyware can hamper your computer's performance. To combat spyware, you might want to consider using Microsoft Windows Defender, which is included in Windows Vista, and is available as a free download for Microsoft XP SP2. Alternatively, there are other free anti-spyware software programs available.

Learn all about ReadyBoost

If you're using Windows Vista, you can use ReadyBoost to speed up your system. A new concept in adding memory to a system, it allows you to use non-volatile flash memory—like a USB flash drive or a memory card—to improve performance without having to add additional memory
